The 2011 ANZJAT is out and hopefully all ANZATA members should have their copy by now. This year’s issue is a 112 page informative and visually stimulating issue.
This issue reflects a diversity of approaches to arts therapy as we develop our unique styles in the Asia Pacific region. Work from Australia, New Zealand and China is represented, reflecting a variety of theoretical models in arts therapy practice as well as a diversity of research methodologies and settings, ranging from schools to forensic units. Several arts modalities are represented in the articles, and two of the studies report on projects that employ more than one arts modality, reflecting our inclusion of therapists trained in a variety of arts modalities in our membership.
Once again the journal has acheived an exceptionally high standard of both writing and imagery thus warranting its A rating as an international peer-reviewed journal.
